As a professional athlete, life will come at you fast. When balancing the worries of performance demands with family/personal life and travel, concerns over whether you are being protected within your existing or upcoming contract should be the least of your concerns.
League Status provides NFLPA Certified representation during the contract negotiation process to ensure our clients full value is realized and properly compensated at the negotiating table. Additionally, we deliver on-going protection under that contract to offer aid in periods of injury, trade, release and re-negotiation.
Pre-Draft Training/Combine Prep
Success at the professional level is predicated by one word, PERFORMANCE. Ensuring our athletes are ready to perform at the peak of their ability at pre-draft combines, team workouts or pre-season camps is an area where League Status separates itself from numerous agencies where athletes are just another number. Quality over quantity is the mantra.
Our strategic partnerships with 2 of the nation’s leading training programs provide the rigor to ensure our clients are physically and mentally prepared to excel at testing pre-draft and increase performance levels off-season. Athletes will have a program tailored individually to their performance needs. Our system also provides elite rehab and recovery services to assist in the return to full performance levels following any unfortunate incidence of injury during your career.
Marketing and Brand Management
Creation of marketing opportunities can provide athletes with helpful supplemental income. Building a brand that positions League Status athletes for key marketing opportunities is paramount. With that thought in mind, we provide assistance in building our clients global brand to attract marketing and endorsement opportunities. While most large endorsement and sponsorship deals stem from on-field accolades, even some top performers are deemed ‘un-marketable’. We are here to ensure that is not the case for you!
Media Relations
From pre and post game interviews, to news reports, you never know when you’ll be on the opposite end of the cameras responding to questions. To ensure you are fully prepared for any media event, we offer coaching for media engagement and interviews. Our training is conducted by local and national television personalities that are strategic partners of League Status. You will have the opportunity to learn from professionals, key aspects of being on-air from correct posture and eye contact to avoiding blunders or speaking mishaps.
Concierge Services
Similar to the concerns of contract negotiations, travel planning and relocations can be stressful, time-consuming tasks for athletes. To alleviate some of these tasks, travel and logistics planning for clients and their families is something League Status will happily take off your plate. Understanding the detailed guidelines in place by the NFLPA for family travel, covered/un-covered expenses etc., is an area of expertise for our firm that will ensure you are always in strict compliance.
Financial Planning
To provide the utmost clarity and transparency, League Status is not a financial firm. We work with the sound NFLPA approved business partners to provide assistance in financial planning for our athletes. This ensures our clients reach their present goals while preparing for a solid financial future, and our firm upholds the integrity/standards expected by the NFLPA.
